Well, as you may have already heard, we had our first child over the weekend. We've been expecting him for quite a while. He was 8 days overdue! This picture was taken of his beautiful mother at about 1:00 PM, just after her contractions started.
About three hours and four pushes later, he was here. 7lbs and about 20 1/4 inches long. And yeah, that is correct, only four pushes! We were only at the hospital for 25 minutes before he came out. Maybe we'll leave earlier next time.

There we are, in front of the same tree. What a difference a day makes. Praise the Lord for a blessing like Andrew! How humbling it is to be entrusted by God with one of his servants.
Love little Andrew already!! You guys both look great. I think you were trying to set a record for quickest birth and quickest hospital visit! Sheesh! Did they trust you to go home because you are both RNs?! Praying you are doing well. Can't wait to meet Andrew in person sometime soon. Love, The "other" Feringa's
