Happy Birthday Kurt!
Birthday Celebration Day #1
The advantages of Kurt being the last May birthday of our family...
He just gets to keep on partying!

Birthday Celebration Day #2
What time is it?! MILLER TIME!!!
I kidnapped Kurt for a day to enjoy all Wisconsin has to offer... Beer, Brats, and the Brewers!
Randy and Elise were able to go on their first Miller tour. It is really quite impressive to see. If you are not interested in how they make beer, you might be interested in the free beer at the end of the tour!
Wisconsin = Best tailgating experience ever!
(if you ever want to experience it, please let Kurt know. He would be happy to personally show you how!)

Andrew slept through the entire game... (and the 4 hour ride to and from the game)
Must be that was his birthday gift to his dad!!
The Brewers lost (not a big surprise!)
But, we got a ball for Andrew's first game! (It was slightly embarrassing to be with Kurt as he was trying to get a ball for Andrew. However, his persistence paid off and Kurt was thrilled)
Birthday Celebration Day #3
My 27 year old man at the beach on his actual birthday.
Happy Birthday Kurt!!
The Laning Clan
All ten Laning grandchildren smiling at once! That's hard to accomplish!!
Great-grandmother, Nana Laning, with Andrew.

Happy Birthday Trish!
The month of May is now considered a Feringa celebration month! There are exactly 11 days between each of our birthdays!
We figure it is never to early to teach Andrew to be a beach bum. Priorities...
The beach and Chinese food. Can your birthday get any better?
Happy Mother's Day!
Andrew loves his hands.
I am hard pressed to get a picture without his hands in his mouth!
Breast-feeding sisters.

Who Does He Look Like?
When Andrew came out, Trish and I asked each other, "who does he look like?" Neither of us was able to answer each other. I'm not sure he really looks like either one of us. That is until, we found pictures of me as a baby. Whoa...it's like a replica!
That is one good lookin' kid!

Andrew Kreg Feringa
Well, as you may have already heard, we had our first child over the weekend. We've been expecting him for quite a while. He was 8 days overdue! This picture was taken of his beautiful mother at about 1:00 PM, just after her contractions started.
About three hours and four pushes later, he was here. 7lbs and about 20 1/4 inches long. And yeah, that is correct, only four pushes! We were only at the hospital for 25 minutes before he came out. Maybe we'll leave earlier next time.
Happy Daddy. That hat was a little big on him.
First family picture. We don't even look tired yet!
Lots of family came to see him. This is nephew Daniel, he just loves babies.
Getting ready to leave the hospital. We were only in the hospital for 26 hours. (We were trying to get a discount! I'm not sure if it worked.)
There we are, in front of the same tree. What a difference a day makes. Praise the Lord for a blessing like Andrew! How humbling it is to be entrusted by God with one of his servants.
