Spring is finally here! and so is baseball. We went to Maryvale (a.k.a. "scaryvale") to watch the Brewer's spring home opener.

Question: What do you get when you have a demented, bedridden,
actively decaying man who is receiving a colonoscopy prep?
Answer: Liquid poop EVERYWHERE.- including on my shirt and on my arm
(as I saw the poop flying through the air directly at me, I wanted to scream,
but I did not. I calmly wiped the shit off of my arm and kept going. All in a day's work.)

Fear Not
Well....for those of you who know I have suffered from Cluster Headaches...they finally put me in the hospital, but not how you'd think. Turns out I was on so much medication for them (under orders from my neurologist in Michigan) that it caused me to go into a funny heart rhythm. For those of you familiar with heart rhythms, I was in a "3rd degree heart block," or "full heart block." Lucky for me I was in the ER (at work) already and had a friend do an ekg on me and I was able to have a Dr. look at it. We both knew what it was, so I was admitted to the hospital and had my medication discontinued (thank goodness!). I'm starting new meds tomorrow. I'm feeling great, and I'm good to go. (it was great to have Trish there with me through the whole thing, she's really a blessing)

A hike in the White Tanks
With Kurt gone for the weekend, I went hiking with Jessica, a fellow traveler. We decided we have an affinity to picking poor hikes when we are together. You may ask, what is this a picture of? If you guessed a waterfall, you would be correct. People in Arizona believe this darkened rock from moisture is a waterfall. I can't say it was worth the 11 miles round trip to see this, but it was a nice day and of course, sunny.

Is chocolate enough? Kurt thinks it might be
Kurt has gotten into the habit of sending chocolate with his admissions he gives me. He is under the impression that chocolate will help me forget the incontinent, complete care, demented, half dead patient that he just handed off to me. He just might be on to something! Thanks honey.

Peralta Trail
It was very cold and windy today so we decided to eat in a cave. As you can see, Kurt didn't even bother to wait for us to stop chewing when he took the picture
Our view to the south (above) and to the north (below)
I must not lie, it was only 39 degrees today
Tombstone
Well, Tombstone wasn't like the movies, but it was interesting going to the museum (above), and cold too.
You can almost see Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday....almost.
